About the Hill Challenge
The Hill Challenge is a footrace (hike and/or run) held annually, usually in April or May. The distance is about 21km (about 13 miles) with some 1,100m (about 3,600 feet elevation change). About 70% of the route is on trail, some easy, some technical.
It is organized by members of the Barbados Hiking Association.

History of the Hill Challenge
The inaugural "To Hill and Back" Hiking Challenge was held on Easter Monday, April 9th, 2012 at 7:00am from Haggatts Factory Yard, St. Andrew. It was organized by members of the Barbados Hiking Association and included 13 miles (21km) with 9 hills of the roughest terrain in Barbados.
