The Mountain Goats are an informal group of runners and hikers who started weekly training runs for the annual Hill Challenge in 2017. With the Hill Challenge normally scheduled for 1 May, training runs start in mid January, gradually building up distance and elevation. Some trail running experience is required, and while the training runs start at 7-8km distance.
